Calf Raises

A simple exercise that does a lot: it strengthens the calves (obviously) but also loads the spine and legs , which is great for bone density. Having strong calves and flexible ankles can also help keep a spring in your step and maintain balance as you get older. Important technique points are 1. using a full range of motion and 2. coming to a dead stop at the bottom of every rep.
