Hi there!

MY NAME IS TOM (he/him), and I’m a personal trainer (NASM-CPT) based in Manhattan.

MY STORY: Fifteen years ago, I was out of shape, and the main thing I knew about exercise was that I didn’t like it. Going to the gym was confusing, uncomfortable, intimidating, and it never delivered the results I’d hoped for. But I was on the brink of turning 40, so it seemed like a good time to once again try to get in shape.

Fortunately, this time around I stumbled upon some of the “evidence based” fitness information that was proliferating online in the early 2010s. I found that once I applied the basic principles of progressive strength training, I was suddenly gaining strength and muscle like never before, doing workouts that were simple, easy, and short. I was amazed, but also frustrated that I’d spent so many years believing that getting in shape was much harder than it actually is. Since then, I’ve been obsessed with learning the nuts and bolts of strength training, cardiovascular fitness, and nutrition, and sharing that knowledge with clients.

AS A TRAINER, my aim is to simplify and demystify the pursuit of strength and fitness, and to provide customized training that lets you efficiently reach your goals while living your life.
